Corporate Scholarships

Invest in your team’s future. Corporate scholarships enable employers to sponsor employees through world-class event tourism education, building organisational capability while advancing individual careers.

Process

How It Works

01

Employer Registers Interest

The organisation contacts ISET to discuss sponsorship options, number of places, and programme preferences.

02

Candidate Nomination

The employer nominates one or more employees. Nominees must meet the academic entry requirements of the chosen programme.

03

Admission via Partner University

Nominees apply to the relevant partner university in the normal way. ISET does not bypass university admissions processes.

04

Sponsorship Agreement

A tripartite agreement is established between the employer, employee, and ISET covering fees, study time, and any post-completion obligations.

05

Programme Delivery

The sponsored employee studies alongside other students in the cohort, with the full programme experience and resources.

06

Employer Reporting

With the employee's consent, periodic progress updates are shared with the sponsoring organisation. Final outcomes are confirmed upon completion.

For Employers

Benefits for Your Organisation

Talent Retention

Employees sponsored for postgraduate education are significantly more likely to remain with their employer. Investment in development builds loyalty.

Skill Uplift

Graduates return with advanced strategic capabilities: data literacy, AI proficiency, destination intelligence, and consulting-grade analysis skills.

Industry Network

Sponsored employees join a global cohort of event tourism professionals, expanding the organisation's network and knowledge base.

Tax Efficiency

In many jurisdictions, employer-sponsored education qualifies for tax relief as a professional development expense. Consult local tax guidance.

Brand Positioning

Organisations that invest in education are recognised as employers of choice. Named sponsorships carry visible brand association.

Applied Learning

Programme assessments can incorporate real organisational challenges. Sponsored employees produce work directly applicable to their employer's strategic needs.

For Employees

Benefits for Sponsored Individuals

No Personal Cost

The employer covers the full cost of the ISET curriculum licence fee (and potentially partner university tuition, depending on the sponsorship agreement).

Career Advancement

A postgraduate qualification in event tourism, combined with employer endorsement, positions the employee for senior leadership roles.

Protected Study Time

Most corporate sponsorship agreements include provisions for study leave, ensuring the employee can engage fully with the programme.

Immediate Application

Learning is applied directly to the employee's role. Assessments often use real organisational data and challenges as case studies.

Nomination

How to Nominate an Employee

Corporate scholarship nominations can be made at any time. We work with each employer individually to understand their needs, select appropriate programmes, and structure sponsorship agreements that work for both parties.

To begin the conversation, we need:

  • Organisation name and sector
  • Number of employees you wish to sponsor (or an indication of scale)
  • Preferred programme level and subject area
  • Whether nominees are already identified or still to be selected
  • Any specific learning outcomes the organisation requires
