Credentials & Portfolio

The most powerful credential is not a certificate — it is a body of work that demonstrates what you can do. Every ISET student graduates with a Portfolio of Production: consulting-grade deliverables that prove capability to employers, clients, and collaborators.

Core Philosophy

The Portfolio of Production

A certificate tells someone you studied. A portfolio shows them what you can produce. In a consulting profession, the latter matters infinitely more.

Every assessment in ISET programmes produces a tangible, professional-quality deliverable. By the time you graduate, you hold a curated collection of real strategic documents, intelligence reports, event concepts, and policy recommendations — all produced to consulting standards, all addressing real market challenges.

This is not a hypothetical portfolio. These are genuine artefacts produced during your programme, refined through peer review and industry panel assessment, and ready to present to employers or clients on day one of your career.

What You Produce

Portfolio Artefact Categories

The specific artefacts depend on your programme tier and specialisation, but they draw from these four categories. Masters and MBA students produce work across all four.

Strategic Documents

  • Destination event strategy (for a real market)
  • Event feasibility assessment with scoring analysis
  • Sponsorship valuation and activation proposal
  • Convention bureau growth roadmap

Intelligence Outputs

  • Market comparative analysis using GETI/ERS data
  • Event portfolio audit with ECS scoring
  • Brand category intelligence report (EBS)
  • Venue assessment and recommendation brief (EVS)

Creative & Campaign

  • Event concept document with positioning strategy
  • Bid document for hosting a major event
  • Marketing campaign strategy with media plan
  • Stakeholder engagement and communications plan

Research & Policy

  • Industry white paper on an emerging trend
  • Policy recommendation for a government tourism body
  • Economic impact assessment methodology
  • AI integration strategy for an event organisation
Intellectual Property

What You Own

You Own Your Work

Every consulting artefact, strategy document, and creative output you produce during your programme belongs to you. You retain full intellectual property rights.

You Own Your Portfolio

Your Portfolio of Production is yours permanently. You can share it with employers, use it in pitches, publish excerpts, or build upon it in your career.

You Own Your Data

Research findings, analyses, and insights you generate using the intelligence platform are yours to take forward into professional practice.

University Owns Assessment

Your partner university manages grades, transcripts, degree conferral, and academic records according to their governance frameworks.
